The 2024 Tang Prize Week kicks off on September 26th with a series of exciting events. The grand "Award Ceremony" will be held on September 27th at the Taipei Performing Arts Center. On September 28th, the "Laureate Lectures" will take place at the National Central Library, where six laureates will share the essence of their lifelong research in four sessions throughout the day. From September 30th to October 1st, the "Master Forums" will be held at four universities: National Taiwan University, Soochow University, China Medical University, and National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, inviting experts and scholars to engage in intellectual dialogues with the laureates. Additionally, "Youth Symposia" will be held at Taipei Municipal Chien Kuo High School and National Hsinchu Senior High School, fostering cross-generational exchanges on personal growth and experiences.
The "Glory of the Tang Prize Exhibition, " which opened on September 2nd at the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall in Taipei, is curated around the concept of “Conversations between Tang Prize Excellence and the Pursuit of a Better Life” (themed "Eternal Pursuit: The Legacy of the Tang Prize"). It combines technology and art in an innovative display, offering visitors a feast for both the eyes and the mind.
