Over the past 13 years, the Tang Prize, founded in 2012 by Dr. Samuel Yen-Liang Yin of the Ruentex Group has selected 39 laureates (including three non-governmental organizations) through a professional, rigorous, fair, and independent selection process. The selection committees, comprising world-renowned scholars and experts, base their decisions on criteria of innovation, contribution, and impact. The Tang Prize has established itself as a world-class award, with sustainable development as its core focus, encompassing natural and social sciences.
