Origin: The Tang Prize is awarded on a biennial basis, each with a cash reward of NT$40 million. Projects proposed by the laureates also receive a grant of up to NT$10 million. 
 

Project Summary: This scholarship aims to award graduate students at the National University of Singapore and allow them to pursue their studies in a supportive and forward-looking learning environment that is not only sustained by leading faculty members, healthy funding support and excellent research facilities and opportunities, but that also will prepare them for a successful career in research and academia.
