Hello World,

We hope to use this space to let you get to know the Tang Prize and keep up with our latest events and news.

The Tang Prize was founded in 2012 to award and inspire contribution to society in four fields, namely Sustainable Development, Biopharmaceutical Science, Sinology, and Rule of Law, and ultimately to lead all human civilization towards a more sustainable future.

Just one year ago, the first Tang Prize Laureates took the stage at the award ceremony to accept the medal and diploma. The inaugural laureates are: Gro Harlem Brundtland (SD), James P. Allison and Tasuku Honjo (joint recipients in BS), Yu Ying-Shih (Sin), and Albie Sachs (RoL).

No matter where you are, the Tang Prize hopes to work with you in improving today and looking forward to a better tomorrow. This means learning from the wise words and fearless determination of the people before us, and giving those gifts of knowledge and tenacity to the next generation of innovators.
