Samuel Yin Is Awarded IAACC Professional Degree of Doctor for Positive Influence by Celebrating Inspiring Figures through Tang Prize

International Academic Accreditation and Certification Committee (IAACC) awarded Dr. Samuel Yin the Professional Degree of Doctor of Management in Leadership with all the rights, privileges, responsibilities and honors. Dr. Yin has contributed “to the world professional elite through the creation and effective management of the International Charitable Foundation for Higher Professional Recognition of the Tang Prize Foundation,” said the President of IAACC, said Tatiana K. Sergeeva. Sergeeva visited the Tang Prize Foundation in November, 2017, and recognized the contributions and spirit of the prize.

 

According to IAACC, it is the “Establishment of the Associations of the Higher Educational Institution of Russian Federation having the rights of the Certification Department of the World Technological University (WTU) established by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Russian Federation Ministry of General and Professional Education.”

 

This award ceremony jointly took place with the annual assembly of the Russia International Academy of Engineering (IAE) in Moscow, Russia. Dr. Jenn-Chuan Chern, CEO of the Tang Prize Foundation, accepted the diploma on behalf of Dr. Yin. The President of IAE, Boris Vladimirovich Gusev, and the President of the International Association Knowledge, Malitikov Efim M. were present at the ceremony.

 

The International Association Knowledge was established in 1947. The Economic and Social Council of the UN Association (ECOSOC) awarded the International Association Knowledge the highest status for the general non-UN organizations. Malitikov has been full member of 12 Academies. He is also the President of the Academy Informationology International Structure. He has led many important projects, including airport construction, telecommunications, and military-industrial complex. Malitikov said the prize category of Sustainable Development of the Tang Prize will facilitate the progress of building a sustainable society in the 21st century. It is hoped sustainable development can be more broadly adopted under the UN guidelines.

 

Dr. Yin has long been an advocate of civil engineering technology. His contributions are recognized worldwide, including energy efficient building, resource circular economy, the low-energy production of cement, technology by using less concrete and reinforcing steel to achieve higher structural seismic resistance capacity and more. His innovations are broadly adapted and make a difference toward a more sustainable society.
